New product release: the new Breitling Super Chronomat 44
When Breitling launched the new Chronomat in 2020, watch lovers didn’t know that just a few months later, the Swiss watchmaker would release another attractive watch that would overturn the previous watches. Breitling launched a new Super Chronomat with a case size of 44 mm. This new version includes various new versions, such as the UTC module bracelet, one made of 18 carat red gold, and finally a pair of references using the brand’s rare four-year calendar.
This watch is a true interpretation of the phrase “bigger is better”. In a way, this new watch is Breitling’s recognition of the brand’s long tradition in the field of large pilot chronographs.
As a brand, Breitling’s entire identity revolves around making first-class chronographs. It’s like Chanel and high fashion, and Chronomat is Breitling’s “little black dress”. The chronograph is the core competence of the watchmaker. Undoubtedly, the Chronomat series is the flagship. Features such as polished surface, rider label, baroque crown, analog-digital time format, unique high-tech bracelet, eye-catching display and vivid colors are the main attributes.
The Breitling Chronomat is a watch that came out in the 1980s, more precisely in 1982. This is an era when the world has become crazy about flying and jet airplanes. The watch itself is a 39 mm watch that pays tribute to the design designed in 1983 for the Italian jet team Frecce Tricolori. Chronomat uses Breitling Calibre 19 movement. It is based on ETA 2892-A2. Calibre 19 has appeared in several previous models of this Swiss watch manufacturer. The Super Chronomat 44 four-year calendar is powered by Breitling Calibre 19. The mechanism provides functions such as hour, minute, second, day of the week, date, month, and of course, moon phase display. The automatic movement provides a 42-hour power reserve and runs at a speed of 28,800 vph.
